Grief Heroes Donations: Empowering Oklahoma City's Elementary Students
Great news: The impact of our pilot school donation project during the COVID-19 pandemic has been significant.
Our research revealed that 93% of teachers never received training on how to support students, so we donated our Grief Heroes Kits to 18 inner-city elementary schools in Oklahoma City. We also provided training on best practices to teachers and school counselors, and the feedback we received was profound.
To expand our services, we are developing a platform to digitize our books and resources, making them accessible to grieving families and school districts nationwide.
