Emily Kloeppel

Emily is a 4th-grade teacher in the Putnam City school district in Oklahoma City where she has taught since graduating from Southern Nazarene University in 2016. She firmly believes in the importance of dealing with mental health needs and building strong relationships in addition to teaching the required standards. Teaching in a state that tops the charts in childhood trauma (according to ACE scores) has opened her eyes to the major need for teachers and students to have quality resources available to help students walk through this trauma.
