Our Impact

Since 2015, we have developed, tested and donated age - appropriate grief workbooks to families navigating grief in collaboration with organizations and schools in Florida.

Our collection is carefully curated to provide  content and activities that can help children understand and cope with difficult emotions. The workbooks, designed for children ages 3 to 12 , serve as a self-help tool for families with grieving children, empowering them to combat loneliness and facilitate meaningful conversations between children and their caregivers.

In 2020, amidst the challenges of COVID-19 , we launched a pilot project in Putnam School District, in Oklahoma City.  In an effort to extend our reach, we provided grief workbooks to 18 elementary schools. Through collaboration with 525 teachers and school counselors, these workbooks were distributed to grieving students in need.

At Grief Heroes Foundation, we believe in the power of diverse forms of knowledge and education. Our goal is to equip grieving children, their families, and  professionals with accessible grief tools through the Grief Heroes Portal. In addition, we plan to create the Super Dog ZAM Musical, a valuable story for elementary school students and teachers  laying the groundwork for broader nationwide initiatives in schools.

To secure the necessary funds, we are currently reaching out to corporate sponsors, seeking grants and planning fundraising campaigns. Join us in creating unique learning tools and a musical experience in Florida that can be replicated in other states.

to Combat Loneliness in Grieving Children.

To help raise social awareness and combat mental health challenges, we have exited to announce the Hope on Wheel Campaign for 2024. Learn more about who you can support us in this important initiative.

In addition, we are actively working on a musical project inspired by the heartwarming tale of the Super dog ZAM a character who overcame loss and gained extraordinary powers to bring healing to children around the world.

The story, written by a young boy who experienced loss and sought to bring comfort to others, exemplifies how small things and have a huge impact. The book has reached thousands of children since 2014 though donations programs to Hospitals and schools.

We are thrilled to witness the transformative power of creativity and look forward to the positive impact this musical production will have on young hearts and minds.  Learn about Hope on Wheels Campaign.
